Although Color is a Shorthorn Plus she was a definite keeper in our heifer pen. She has a lot going for her with her big frame feminine head and good depth of body and strong genetics.  Colors dam was one of the females that we purchased from the Bar 33 program they were purchased for our commercial program and have earned their way into the purebreds to grade up.

Klassy's dam DFJ Maggie 20Y and her dam both had success in the show ring. As a 2 Year old cow calf pair DF Maggie 4W won Grand Champion female at the Canadian Western Agribition 2011 with DFJ Maggie 20Y at foot. Klassy's dam Maggie 20Y went on to win on her own merits as a bred heifer in 2012. Klassy's paternal sister just sold at the First Annual Premier Shorthorn Sale CSC Rose 23K sold for $10,000 as a calendar year heifer to Nolan Vandersluis and Brynne Yoder.
