In the spring, we offer a carefully selected group of high-quality bulls for sale by private treaty. At Ramblin Ranch, our program is focused on producing seedstock that emphasize structural correctness, fertility, and true breed character. Our bulls are developed to be functional, competitive, and progressive within the purebred industry.
We take pride in offering cattle that can strengthen cow families, enhance phenotype, and move programs forward. Each bull is raised with longevity and soundness in mind, developed on a balanced ration with free-choice access to high-quality hay and essential minerals. We avoid over-conditioning, focusing on steady, practical growth.
Prior to sale, every bull undergoes a comprehensive veterinary evaluation, including palpation, scrotal measurement, and a complete semen test by a licensed veterinarian. These standards ensure our bulls meet the expectations of today’s purebred cattlemen, so you can invest with confidence.

Each fall, we offer a select group of high-quality heifers. These females are carefully chosen from our keeper pen, representing the kind of sound structure, strong maternal traits, and balanced genetics that we are building our program around.
Our focus is on raising dependable, honest cattle that not only deliver in production but also carry the style and presence to stand out. Whether you’re looking to strengthen your cow herd or add future show prospects, our heifers are bred with both function and longevity in mind.
Heifers are available through private treaty and in very limited numbers. This means each offering is both unique and highly sought after. Buyers can be confident they are investing in genetics backed by integrity, consistency.

All animals are 100K tested, including parentage verification. Animals are either tested or guaranteed free by pedigree for GE-EPDs and the four common genetic conditions/defects: TH (Tibial Hemimelia), PHA (Pulmonary Hypoplasia with Anasarca), DS (Digital Subluxation), and Myostatin.
All animals sell with the standard breeding guarantee as outlined by the Canadian Shorthorn Association, unless otherwise stated.
